ITE was formed in 1992 to provide controls design services to the synthetic textiles manufacturing industry in Charlotte. My project experience has extended beyond the manufacture of polymers to include processes ranging from the manufacture of organic chemicals to environmental remediation. Careful front-end project planning is emphasized to ensure I understand my clients' needs and create solutions that address these needs at a reasonable cost. My diverse project work has exposed me to many leading technologies; the benefits of this experience accrue to clients by way of tailored designs - I do not propose the same hardware or software solution for all projects, but rather, offer what I believe to be the best choice of components and designs for each specific application.
I offer to provide project documentation and operator/maintenance personnel training before project closeout to ensure the system will be understood and knowledgeably maintained.
It has been my experience that time spent implementing a planned and thorough approach to the control of a process prior to installation reduces capital (first) costs and results in a more efficient and more flexible plant, yielding operational cost savings immediately and reduced upgrade/expansion costs in the future.
Bruce M. Judd is Chief Engineer and principal and is licensed to practice engineering in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.
